About this list

Established May 1st 2007, pursuant to regulations of August 6th 1993 relating to prohibition of landings and other measures to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, § 11.

All vessels on the list is covered by one or more of the measures listed in the regulation. The measures include prohibition of landing, transshipment, delivery of supplies, delivery of services and access to port. Licence to operate in the Norwegian EEZ or the right to fly the flag of Norway, will not be granted to these vessels.

The list also identifies vessels involved in cases where a decision to lay down prohibitions is about to be made.

The list will be updated continously. Vessels can ble removed if the conditions listed in § 10 of the regulations referred to above are met.

The list is presented in three separate parts. The first one includes vessels that is covered by all measures including denial of port access. The second part includes vessels that may be granted access to port for the purpose of inspection primarily. The last part includes vessels involved in cases where a decision to lay down prohibitions is about to be made

The list of information about each vessel is not exhaustive. More information may exist or existing information may not be updated due to change of name, flag or ownership.
