IUU-list

Pursuant to regulations on the ban on landing of fish and other special measures against illegal, unreported and unregistered fishing, the Directorate of Fisheries has created an IUU list.

Vessels on the list will not be granted a license to fish in Norway's economic zone, nor can they be granted an acquisition permit for entry in the brand register. Violation of the prohibitions may result in penalties and confiscation.

The second part vessels that are not immediately affected by refusal to call, while the third part contains vessels that have been notified of a decision to impose a ban.
